Whether you are an aspiring airline or military pilot, flying gliders is such a great way to get into either career. Flight School Wingman would wholeheartedly recommend it for so many reasons, but in no particular order, it helps develop: teamwork, leadership, airmanship, weather knowledge, aircraft handling and so much more!

In this episode, Jake Brattle and Finn Sleigh, two future shining stars talk about the world of competition gliding, where pilots pit their wits against each other using nothing but the energy in the atmosphere to fly incredible distances at incredible speeds. Check it out!

“Gliders, Sailplanes – they’re wonderful flying machines. It’s the closest you can come to being a bird.”
