Once upon a time, a young lad from Stoke had a dream to become a fighter pilot. However, he was told by his school careers teacher that “…people from around here don’t do stuff like that”. 30 years later, already a distinguished frontline Harrier a pilot, he is now a highly regarded pilot and figure in the world of aircraft development and testing. “Reach for the stars – even if you don’t make it, you might just land on the moon”.
